I was happy that he didn’t push me to have an operation that was not needed at this point, I feel a bit pushed into another small procedure and have asked a few times about another procedure but felt I’m not really being listened to, my first impressions of the doctor were he was scatty and a bit disorganised but having said that I would trust him

I my experience medical procedures go better if you are relaxed and put total trust in the staff. They have the experience and knowledge and are the experts. Although it is a big operation you might be about to undergo these medic do it everyday. I relaxed, trusted the staff and made a very quick recovery. Thanks to Mr Abdul and his team. They saved my life!

Mr Abdul provided the most excellent care to my mother. He treated her as an individual wanting to do the very best for her treating her as if she was his own mother. His exceptional skill in delivering complex keyhole surgery has given my mother the very best outcome. We are so very grateful to him

Mr Abdul is great. I have been under his care for a couple of months and he's carried out a couple of procedures after abnormalities from a smear. Mr Abdul was always very professional. Caring, sensitive and has a lovely manner. He was very easy to get on with and could even have a laugh. I felt very comfortable with him and trust him. He explained my results and the procedures he was going to do very well and very carefully. I always knew what was happening. I cannot fault Mr Abdul and I thank him so much for all he has done for me.

Mr Abdul was very professional and explained the procedure, asked for my consent to video my operation for teaching purposes which I didn’t mind.
I just wish he would talk a little bit slower and he talks very quickly and I think you could take the information in quicker if he just slowed his speech down a little.
Other than that no complaints.

Mr Summi Abdul Qualified from Leeds University in 1995. He has worked at a number of Centres of Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - Including St James's Hospital, Leeds; Leeds General Infirmary, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Northampton, Kettering, The John Radcliffe at Oxford, Sheffield Royal Infirmary, Tolouse, Ispwich, Hull and the Royal Derby Hospital.
He attained his CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology in 2006. He has been a Consultant since 2006.
He has a strong interest and expertise in Keyhole surgery and is a nationally recognised expert in Keyhole surgery - Teaching other consultants nationally and internationally.
He is the Founder and Director of the DELTA centre.
